Our midweek Summer Children's Program has come to an end. Look for our Children's Program Fall Kickoff on September 10th!
August 24 - "Lawnchair Church and Picnic" - Join us for Church at the "Bud Allen" park at 10:00 am. There will not be Sunday School. Following the morning service, we will enjoy each other and fellowship together with a picnic. We will have hotdogs and hamburgers but we ask you to bring a side dish, salad, or dessert! There will not be an evening service this day.
Sept 5 - NYI (Youth) Back to School/Lan Party 6:00 pm -10:00 pm. Bring table games. Bring your computer. Bring a snack (bag of chips/soda/cookies etc.).
Sept 7 - Sunday evening service is back at 6:00 pm.
Sept 9 - Men's Prayer Breakfast - We are going to start a time for the men to get together and pray for each other, our families and friends, and our church. We will meet every Tuesday, at 8:00 am, at the Mt Adams Cafe.
Sept 9 - Board Meeting at the church at 7:00 pm.
Sept 10 - Children's Program Fall Kickoff. Wednesday's 7:00 pm. We always are looking for workers. If you would like to help out please let Tishia know.
October 5, 2008 - Centennial Celebration - We are celebrating our 100th year birthday as a denomination. We will be baptizing believers and bringing in new members this Sunday. If you are interested in being baptized or joining with the church, please let Pastor Fred know. We will have a potluck following the morning service.
Sept 20 - Membership Class. 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. If you are curious about the Nazarene Church, we invite you to come out to the parsonage on Saturday morning to learn about our history, our beliefs, and how you fit in.
Sept 21 - Youth "Slave Auction" - Do you have work that needs to get done around the house? Are you dreading cleaning up the leaves this fall? During the Sunday evening service we will be auctioning off our teenagers for work to raise funds for Summer Camps and other youth activities.
Sept 26 - Family Movie Night - We will watch "Underdog". Bring your pillow, wear (modest) jammies.
